It seems to be that there are questions almost daily on how certain aspects of the nemesis system work. 'Where do I make my nemesis?' - 'Why am I not getting any clues?'

- 'How many nemeses can I have?' .Being the self-proclaimed CORP expert on nemesis content, I shall teach you how to put your evil counterpart in jail in no time!

Just read on!Warning: Might contain spoilers. How do I create my nemesis? When you hit level 25, you will get a mail from MCPD Captain Martin to seek him out. He is located at the police station, a bit northeast of City Hall. He'll offer you the quest 'Crime Computa', which basically consists of making a nemesis. I'm sure you can figure out that part yourself.I have a nemesis, let's get rolling! Now that you've completed the mission crime computa, you have your very first nemesis. How does it work from this point on? Well, it's quite easy.First you'll get the quest 'Lemurian Antiquities', which is where you'll encounter your nemesis for the first time.

They're stealing a lemurian artefact, and it's up to you to save the day! After beating them silly and the like, you've done your first nemesis quest, but there are many more to come. Turn it in and you have to wait for your first 'clue'.Clues?Clues are items that start missions. As you are fighting in the outdoor world, every now and then minions of your nemesis will attack you. Killing these is fundamental to advancing your nemesis questchain, as they are the only way at the moment to gain new nemesis quests. However: There is a but.

Nemesis clues are on a cooldown. After completing a nemesis mission, a six hour cooldown begins. Until that cooldown is over, nemesis ambushes will not drop any clues for you.

Once the cooldown is up however, the next ambush will be a guaranteed clue.Note: One of the last patches seems to have bugged it to 8 hours. However, if you claim that you have waited longer than that and still haven't gotten a clue, you're doing something wrong. See the next section.A Camera Microchip to Prison BreakThe very first clue you will find will most likely be the Camera Microchip.

(You might get a different random outdoor first, I can't remember, either way, you should get the microchip soon enough.)Your nemesis is attacking the news station, and you have to put a stop to it. After taking them down, they'll threaten you with their weapon of mass destruction and flee. Some time later, MCPD Captain Martin will mail you to visit him. He's tracked down your nemesis.

(If you haven't been getting any clues, you might have missed this mail. Check him and Defender to see if you got the quests.)After taking your nemesis down in a warehouse, he's sent to the Millennium Prison jail. End of story? No, not at all.Prison Break to the very endEventually, Defender will mail you that your nemesis is breaking out. This is also where all other nemeses you make will begin. The first few steps will be skipped, starting with your nemesis breaking out. From this point on, your nemesis content is pretty straight forward:Prison BreakRandom OutdoorRandom OutdoorRandom IndoorRandom OutdoorRandom OutdoorRandom IndoorRandom OutdoorRandom OutdoorFinal MissionEvery next mission will drop from a clue. This same pattern will repeat itself for each and every one of your nemeses, regardless of their personality. There are four (4) random indoor missions that the system will pick from, and eighteen (18) random outdoor missions to pick from, so after three or so nemeses, odds are you'll be doing repeats a lot. After the final mission, is my nemesis gone?Currently, yes.

When you llook them up in the database, it'll simply list them as being in jail. You won't get any ambushes or missions for that nemesis any longer. However, the final cinematic you get makes it very clear that they're not going to be sitting in that jail for very long.In the future, Cryptic will introduce new content that has all the nemeses you have defeated working together. How many nemeses can I have?Last we heard, they had set the cap to 18. It used to be 8, but it was increased to.well, I'm guessing to give them more time to finish new content. Why do I not get credit for nemesis minion kill perks? Some combinations are bugged. Basically, every combination of henchman type and powers is a separate mob. A military weapons soldier is not the same as a dark magic soldier. Some of these combinations are bugged and do not give credit for rogue gallery perks.

If you find one, simply /bug it.Is it just me or are the epic rewards crap? You'd be correct.Theik, why would we believe you? You're not qualified for nemesis teaching! Wrote:(He asks, having discovered the answer himself earlier today):Do the final missions vary between nemeses? Is there a good way to farm the minions?Nope. Every nemesis has the exact same final mission, regardless of personality.

The only thing that differs are the lines, not even your super villain / hero friends are randomized like they are in the Bunker Buster mission. And no. There used to be an amazing way, if you knew where the nemesis ambushes happened. There were spots where you could just wait for 5 minutes and you'd get ambushed. But that got removed a few patches back, and now the only way to get the ambushes is to grind mobs. I've found that I was getting ambushed fairly often when I was grinding the 5k destroid perk in the harmon spot. Wrote:Ok, the Police Station is a block or two north of City Hall. Bullet for Biselle is far north of the Ren center, and West/Southwest of the Psi Building.:PEDIT- Also, Sel, if you happened to block the Police Sgt in your mail, I don' think you'd get it. I blocked him on one character (Because of the freaking 'HEY, I KNOW IM ANNOYING, BUT CAN YOU HELP US' mails), and I don't remember getting it at all.Hmm, didn't know you could block, and I do not think I have ever done that. I have only ever received a few emails here and there from other players.I know where City Hall is, and I thought I was at the Police Station when I was trying to get some info from some rather taciturn officers. I will try again, though. Thanks for the help!
